Outline
New JTD-505 III is an automated Thermal Desorption Purge & Trap Sampler that preserves the instant heating by curie point from the previous model JTD-505 II and becomes smaller body.
It performs analysis of indoor airborne molecular contamination (AMC), organic substances in and out clean room, trace emission gas of odor and outgas from electrical equipment with GC, GC/MS.
JTD-505 III works with the largest capacity of sample tube in the market called PAT (Size ID 12 mm, Length 50 mm) so that small electrical parts, polymeric materials, etc can be directly placed in without preparation steps.
VOC and outgas analysis are fully supported by PAT baking ovens to stay always clean and wide range of outgas collectors lineup.
Feature
Up to 15 samples can be set up on the sample rack at a time.
Programmable up to 48 samples when placing other samples on the sample rack during operation or repeat the same samples for multiple analysis.

2) Consecutive analysis with multistep temperature for a same sample.
Sensitive analysis of various samples from low to high boiling compounds.
Curie point heating results in sharper chromatographic peaks and high reproducibility.

*1 For normal operation, it usually set at 60°C or higher. Between 0°C to 60°C is possible to set too, however, it cannot control the temperature precisely and it could fluctuate. Sampling in a cooler environment than ambient is also not recommended, considering the wait time on the sample rack.
*2 In case of thermal runaway in the heating units, the optional overheat prevention unit can turn off the main power supply. JTD-505 III has maximum temperature control software installed as standard specification. This option is for additional prevention.
