Being Portable
JCI-77 can inject pyrolyzates and generated gas into GC inlet only when needed. It does not require complicated installation to be positioned on the GC injection port. Exactly like the way as micro syringe injection, insert the needle of JCI-77 to the GC septum to make an inject and remove it after injection.
Flow channel are replaceable per analysis
Because the JCI-77 probe is not positioned on the GC, it is easy to replace the sample tube and needle every time, that makes the flow channel stay clean for additional analysis and minimize the risk of potential residue remaining in the flow channel. The used sample tube and needle can be cleaned and reused many times.
High preheating temperature
Preheating temperature for sample tube (sample chamber) can be raised up to 250°C, 100°C higher than the previous model. Quantitativity and reproducibility have been further improved.
Sample Tube Baking Mode
Able to bake sample tube and mini-PAT*. The baking procedure is pre programmed and requires a simple one push of button.
Solvent Purge Mode
Able to remove water and solvent trapped in mini-PAT* before analysis of VOC.
mini-PAT an adsorption tube
mini-PAT is an adsorption tube for VOC analysis. The mini-PAT is composed of an empty sample tube filled with adsorbent (Tenax GR as standard) and a piece of pyrofoil (280°C as standard and a foil is wrapped around the adsorbent). It can potentially be applied, for example, odor analysis at work environment or food products.
